The SafeHouse launcher

What it is

SafeHouse installs each game from your own PlayStation 2 disc image and runs it as a native PC program: no emulator, no BIOS. SafeHouse includes no game data.

GameStatus
Sly Cooper and the Thievius RaccoonusPlayable. Built on ProjectCane by theclub654, the native PC port of Sly 1 that made SafeHouse possible.
Sly 2: Band of ThievesA native port, fully playable from start to finish.
Sly 3: Honor Among ThievesEarly in development, not fully playable. It installs, plays the opening movies and loads its worlds, but most of the game does not work yet.

Supported discs: Sly 1 from the USA, Europe, Japan and Korea; Sly 2 from the USA, Europe (v1.00 and v2.01) and Japan. On macOS the packages carry the launcher and Sly 2.

Download and play

  1. Get the latest package from the Releases page:

    SystemPackage
WindowsSafeHouse-Launcher-Windows-x86_64-Setup.exe (installer) or ...-Portable.zip (unzip and open SafeHouse.exe)
Linux / Steam DeckSafeHouse-Launcher-Linux-x86_64.AppImage (make it executable and open it) or ...-Linux-x86_64.tar.gz
macOSSafeHouse.app in a .dmg or .zip (Apple Silicon and Intel)
  2. Open SafeHouse, pick a game, choose Install and select (or drag in) your disc image (.iso). The image is checked first: the game, the region, the free space and whether the image is complete.

  3. Choose Play.

The launcher keeps itself up to date: it checks for a new release at startup and updates in place, leaving your saves and games alone (details). On the Steam Deck, install in Desktop Mode, then use Add to Steam on the game's page. More help: FAQ and troubleshooting.
