ZQuest Classic
ZQuest Classic is a free, open source engine for making games similar to the original NES Zelda. Choose from hundreds of quests, or create your own.

Supported platforms
- Windows: Windows 7 or newer (x64 and x86). A native arm64 build is also available for Windows on ARM.
- macOS: 12 or newer (universal binary, Intel and Apple Silicon).
- Linux: x86-64 and AArch64, with glibc 2.35 or newer (Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 36, SteamOS 3, or newer). Requires GTK 3 and OpenSSL 3. Also available as a Flatpak (currently 2.55 releases only), which has no system requirements beyond Flatpak itself.
- Web: an experimental web version that can also be played on mobile devices.
